The SMLL has the whole Island of Cape Breton, but that not all as we reach the other end of the province bring in a whole region with the Valley Thunder Lacrosse The Thunder are one of the fastest growing association in Nova Scotia drawing players all over the Valley region to play their home games in Kingston and Berwick. The Thunder will feature all levels in the SMLL with Novice, Peewee, Bantam and Midget.
Valley Thunder not only have a great association, but host the biggest lacrosse tournament in Nova Scotia the Apple Cup. One of the best celebration of our great sport in the province the SMLL is proud to support the Apple Cup and encourage teams far and wide to attend this great tournament in June 7, 8 2019.
Last year Valley Peewee team fell in the final, but will be looking to use that as motivation this year as they look too not only bring home the Apple Cup banners but the SMLL banners. Watch out for the Thunder when they come to your rink they always bring the Hammer as a physcial team that continues to leave there mark on lacrosse in Nova Scotia.
