Scotia Minor Lacrosse League

Welcome Truro Bearcats to the SMLL

The Scotia Minor Lacrosse League is excited to have the Truro Bearcats as part of the SMLL 1st season.  After spending over 10 years in the Metro Minor Lacross League based out of Halifax, the bearcats will move it teams to the SMLL in 2019.  The league is excited to have such an experienced assoication as part of the year as we continue to grow over the year.  

The bearcats play there home games out of the Colchester Legion Stadium in Truro, home of the East Coast Juniior Lacorsse League Mi'kmaq Warriors.  Bearcats will have four teams in the SMLL this season with for the first time in their history have a Novice team, which shows the growth of the program in Truro.

The Bearcats will also host the league championship on June 22/23 at the Colchester Legion Stadium.  Truro is excited to host the championship weekend and have partnered with the Mi'kmaq Warriors to have a Jr A game during the weekend.  Watch for more updates on the championships weekend in the near future.
